Welcome to Sri Lanka. When you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and finish immigration and customs, a Ceylon Gate Travels representative will meet you. Then travel to Anamaduwa, a peaceful countryside area. Check in at your hotel and relax for the rest of the day, enjoying the quiet surroundings after your flight.

Have a full day of activities in Anamaduwa. Join a traditional cooking experience and learn to make local Sri Lankan dishes. Then walk through the lodge's gardens and cultivation areas while learning about local plants, vegetables, herbs and environmentally responsible farming practices. Enjoy some Kayaking on the nearby water to relax your body and mind.

Travel from Anamaduwa to Kandy, then on to Madulkelle. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka, home to a sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Later, enjoy a tea tasting experience, trying different teas grown in the hill country. Then continue to Madulkelle for the night.

Travel from Madulkelle to the Knuckles mountain range. Join a guided trekking tour through forests and villages, led by a local guide who knows the area well. During the trek, you will visit Mini World's End, a viewpoint with wide views over the valleys below. Return to Madulkelle in the evening to rest after your walk.

Begin your journey from Madulkelle to Gal Oya. On the way, join a walk with naturalist through the forest and nearby countryside. The naturalist will point out birds, plants and other wildlife along the path, a good chance to learn about the local nature before you reach Gal Oya, where you will stay for the night.

Join a boat safari on the reservoir, where you can see elephants, birds and other wildlife close to the water. Later, visit a Veddha community, Sri Lanka's indigenous people, and learn about their traditional way of life, hunting skills and customs passed down for many generations.

Travel from Gal Oya to Ella, a small hill town. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge, a famous stone bridge built during the colonial period, surrounded by green tea fields. Then, if you wish, climb Mini Adam's Peak, a smaller hill with good views over the Ella valley and nearby mountains. Stay the night in Ella.

Begin your journey towards Yala. In the afternoon, go on a Yala safari inside Yala National Park, one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see leopards. You may also see elephants, crocodiles, deer and many kinds of birds during the safari. Stay overnight near the park after your game drive.

Travel from Yala to Colombo, stopping in Galle on the way. Visit Galle Fort, an old fort built by the Portuguese and later developed by the Dutch. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with narrow streets, old buildings and sea views. Later, you can join an optional Colombo sightseeing tour before settling in for the night.
